Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior Project Manager. Located in Gloucester, this position allows for a combination of on-site work and remote work flexibility. The Junior Project Manager will oversee the progress of multiple projects, facilitate communication between teams, and ensure deliverables are met on time. Responsibilities include managing timelines, assisting in expediting project tasks, coordinating inspections, and ensuring efficient delivery management. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to support project goals and operational excellence.

 Skills

  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the confidence to engage clients and senior stakeholders
  • Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage tasks, priorities, and deadlines
  • Analytical mindset – able to understand problems, structure information, and propose practical solutions
  • Comfortable working with data, documents, and basic reporting (e.g. plans, RAID logs, actions)
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from feedback

Experience

  • Some exposure to project, programme, or change environments (through work, placements, internships, or university projects)
  • Experience supporting delivery activities such as planning, tracking actions, preparing materials, or coordinating meetings
  • Interest in consulting and working with public sector or complex organisations
  • Experience working in professional environments with multiple stakeholders (desirable, not essential)

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Working towards, or interest in gaining, a recognised project management qualification.
